We met and fell in love whilst spending a fun… and rosé-filled summer in Cannes. We then spent the next decade working in restaurants, bars, pubs and hotels in the UK, plotting how we could one day own a restaurant of our own, in our beloved France.
We have both been lucky enough to spend our holidays in France since childhood. We both love France and the French way of life… not least the devotion to food and wine. We share the “joie de vivre” spirit and are lucky enough to speak French.
Ben spent some time in London working for the trendy fast-growing Burger & Lobster restaurant group then as Head of Food and Beverage at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge. Ben trained as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu in London, before learning the trade over the following five years.
We finally moved back to France, where we had our daughter Maisie and got our dog Alfie and took on a role together for family-owned rosé brand Maison Mirabeau, running the hospitality on their wine estate near St Tropez.
