Privacy policy
Who is responsible for your data?
SARL HOSPITALITY COTE D’AZUR (Café Brun), whose details are given in the legal notice. For any question about your personal data: bea@cafebrun.com.
What data do we collect, and why?
Contact form. When you write to us through the form, we receive what you type: your name, email address and message. We use it only to reply to you (booking, group request, question). Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in answering it. Your message is not stored on the website: it reaches the Café Brun management by email only. We keep it for as long as needed to handle your request, then for no more than 24 months after our last exchange, and we share it with no one else.
Audience measurement. We use Burst Statistics, installed on our own website. It counts visits and clicks on the “call”, “email” and “directions” buttons, without cookies and without following visitors from one site to another; it stores nothing on your device and therefore requires no consent banner. Statistics are kept for 24 months on our hosting and are not shared with anyone.
Technical data. Like any web server, our host records the IP address and time of connections in technical logs, for security and to keep the website running.
Cookies and external content
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and calls no third-party service when pages load: fonts are hosted on the website itself and there is no interactive map. Links to Instagram, Facebook, Tripadvisor and Google Maps are plain links: those services receive no data until you click, and their own policies then apply.
Hosting and transfers
The website is hosted by GoDaddy in a data centre located in Europe. As GoDaddy.com, LLC is a US company, some technical processing may involve a transfer of data outside the European Union. GoDaddy is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and otherwise relies on standard contractual clauses. Its representative in the European Union is GoDaddy Deutschland GmbH, c/o Spaces, Gertrudenstraße 30-36, 50667 Köln, Germany.
Your rights
You may ask us for access to your data, and for its rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to its processing, by writing to bea@cafebrun.com. If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
